July 2013 - The The Star (The Official Magazine of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America) selected Dave's photo from StarTech 2013 for use as full-page cover for its Club News section highlighting the "Images of StarTech" in the July-August 2013 edition. The photo of a Saturn V rocket body reflecting in the hood of a Mercedes M-Class was taken on a club-sponsored visit to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL using the built-in camera of a Samsung Note 2 mobile phone.

Friday, March 23, 2012 - Filtered Through Time an anthology of original fiction and poetry reflecting how Middle Tennessee, especially Williamson County, traditions and reactions to the Civil War, have come down through the generations for 150 years. Dave's original piece of short fiction, Spirits Of Remembrance was accepted for publication.

Emcee - 5th Annual TWA Read-Around Tennessee

Saturday, April 18, 2009 - Dave served as Master of Ceremonies for the Fifth Annual Read-Around Tennessee event sponsored by the (defunct) Tennessee Writer's Alliance. Read-Around promotes reading by encouraging public readings state-wide. This year's event took place at the Williamson County Public Library. The event was recorded by WC-TV, Williamson County's Government and Educational Channel, for rebroadcast at a later date.

March 8, 2009 - Dave was featured in a local interest piece by Tennessean writer Vicki Stout. Vicki frequently reports on men who cook.
